Summary

TraffiCalm’s TC Mini Trailer System is a compact radar sign trailer that is fully self-contained with batteries and solar panel. This trailer system accommodates our iQ1200 and iQ1500 Full-Matrix Radar Speed Signs (sold separately) which offer traffic data collection and speed triggered messages when deployed wherever needed.

Safety:
Safety: Meets DOT regulations and requirements
for safety and road worthiness. Safety chains
included. Ball hitch system is stowed and secured
when not towing. Hitch beam collapses and locks
into trailer body or completely removed
Stabilizers:
Provided with 2 drop-down stabilizers
that drop to the level of grade and are secured by
pins and (1) hand-crank stabilizer. Stows in fully
retracted position secured by pins for travel
Static Regulatory Sign:
Speed is 25 MPH on
Base. The placards are 1, 3, 0, and 4, which allows
speeds from 0-45 MPH
Wiring:
Wiring is properly sized, rated 900 C min.
for wet locations and sunlight resistant. All
interconnecting cables and wires are routed
through the frame or in conduit for protection

POWER

Batteries:
Includes 2 - 75Ah Batteries
(individually fused). Charger sold separately.
Cushioned battery mount to reduce vibration
and shock felt by the battery
Battery Box:
Housed in weatherproof chamber
separate from battery compartment and sealed
with provisions for thermal transfer, moisture
control, and drainage
Integrated Solar Charging:
Charging: 60 W Solar panel,
deployed to a position higher than the sign. Solar
panel stows flat over the sign for optimal skyward
exposure for continuous charging of the battery.
